Dynamik Excel

  1. Worksheet Name:

    • Ensure that your Excel file contains a worksheet named "TRANSACTIONS". This is the sheet that will be processed.

  2. Column Headers:

    • The code expects specific columns in your worksheet. Make sure your columns have the following headers:

      • Settlement date

      • Trade Date

      • Activity

      • Instrument type

      • Instrument name

      • ISIN

      • Org. Number

      • Currency

      • Contract Note

      • Volume

      • Trade interest

      • Amount

      • Trade interest NOK

      • Amount NOK

      • Bank account

      • Broker

      • Fee

      • Fee NOK

      • Ticker

      • Transaction Comment

  3. Data Entries:

    • Enter your data below the column headers starting from the third row. The code skips the first two rows, assuming they are header information.

  4. Date Formats:

    • For date-related columns like "Settlement date" and "Trade Date," use a recognizable date format that can be parsed by the system.

  5. Numeric Values:

    • Numeric columns like "Volume," "Price," "Trade interest," etc., should contain numeric values. Use dots (.) for decimals.

  6. Currency Codes:

    • The "Currency" column should contain valid currency codes (e.g., USD, EUR).

  7. Org. Number and ISIN:

    • Ensure that at least one of "Org. Number" or "ISIN" is provided for each row. If both are missing, the system will raise an error.

  8. Column Consistency:

    • Maintain consistency in column names and their content to ensure accurate processing.

  9. Optional Columns:

    • Some columns like "Ticker," "Transaction Comment," and others are optional. Include them if relevant to your data.

  10. Save the File:

    • Save your Excel file in a common format (e.g., .xlsx).

By adhering to these guidelines, your Excel file will be better suited for processing by the provided code. If there are specific business rules or requirements related to your data, make sure to follow those as well. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!
